We had our old washing machine for more than 20 years and I died. I did a lot of research and found this Speed Queen. We decided to buy it due to all the great reviews and based on its construction and design. This machine is so quiet when going through its cycles. The keypad is easy to understand and use, even for me since I don't usually do laundry. It feels solid and well built. So far, we are very happy with this machine and will be purchasing the matching gas dryer when it comes time.

I am very happy with this washer overall...it is easy to use, with a lot of convenient options and my laundry comes out clean. The cycles are much shorter than my previous LG washer which is a plus. My only issue is the noise. This washer is advertised as being "quiet". No...it is really loud especially during the spin cycle. This would be my only complaint.

I want a washer that will actually get my laundry clean! Speed Queen, (top load/agitator), actually uses water & agitation to get clothes clean the old school way. No more damp clothes that reek with odors after washing like with the new eco-friendly water conserving machines! Gross! The first Speed Queen washer & dryer I purchased lasted 12 years, (and the dryer was still running like a top!). The first set was put through the ringer, pun intended, with laundry for an active family of 4. When my washer finally kicked the bucket, off I went to purchase an upgraded Speed Queen. I was able to get a beautiful black set & the dryer has a steam refresh/sanitize option, which I love! The price may seem steep, but you absolutely get what you pay for with Speed Queen. I AM SOLD, 100%!

I love love love my new machine worth every penny.The first week my roommate rewatched all her clothes.The clothes come out so clean and we use just a little bit of soap.I wish where I bought it had a speed queen sales event I would go and tell everyone how great it is.I washed sleeping bags came out so clean.We have a dog and 4 Cats everything we wash with fur on it is gone and there is no resides in the machine afterwards. The sverage load Thakes a half hour. No more re washing clothes 3times. Go buy one today best investment ever and you will have peace of mind.It pays for itself .I told everyone to bring over thier laundry so I could wash it. In today's world it seems many consumer products are NOT built to last. I think this will not be the case with my speed queen washer and dryer. I rate all of the features as A++. I do alot of laundry on various settings and am very happy with the performance; about 10 months so far. On my old machines (different brand) the delicate function was not delicate at all. My old dryer would also very hot on a low setting. My SQ washer is top loading, which can accommodate larger loads. It handles bulky items easily and there is a setting just for that purpose. The machines might not look as shiny-fancy as some other brands but that is a non-issue for me.

Haven't had the product long enough. There is a learning curve when going from a front loader to a top loader. Don't care for the lock feature on the door. It's smaller than my old unit, but holds a lot of clothes for it's size. So far so good.

We were tired of stinky front load washing machines so went with the Speed Queen because the salesperson recommended it as well as a family member. So far it seems to be washing effectively as long as I put the detergent in first. I use the autofill mode for water and I am hoping it is sensing it correctly because the clothes are not very wet when they are done spinning. I am hoping it is because the spin mode is that effective.
